TorZon Market Access / FAQ
TorZon Market FAQ, common questions
Common questions about TorZon Market mirror selection, verification, uptime, and how to spot phishing copies. Pulled from public Dread feedback threads and the questions we receive in our research mailbox.
Mirrors
Which TorZon Market mirror should I use?
Any of the six tracked mirrors. All resolve to the same TorZon back-end and carry the same account state. The first listed is the operator-pinned primary; the others are backups for when the primary is slow or rate-limited.
How is a TorZon Market mirror verified?
Every mirror in this list appears in the operator PGP-signed announcement post on Dread. We pull the addresses from the latest signed post and verify the signature against the operator pinned key before publishing.
Can I switch between mirrors mid-session?
Yes. Your account, balance, order history, and vendor reputations all live in the shared back-end. Switching addresses changes only the Tor circuit, not the marketplace state.
Verification
How do I spot a TorZon phishing copy?
Phishers buy vanity onions that match the first few letters of a real TorZon mirror. Always compare all 56 characters against this directory or the signed Dread source. After loading, compare the canonical onion printed inside the marketplace against the address bar.
What does the uptime number actually mean?
Rolling thirty-day percentage from independent probes hitting each mirror every fifteen minutes. A mirror that drops below seventy percent for more than three days loses the verified status until it recovers.
Why is the fingerprint shown next to the address?
The PGP fingerprint identifies the operator key that signed the source announcement for that mirror. Verifying the fingerprint against the operator pinned profile is the cryptographic check that establishes authenticity.
Comparing TorZon to the cohort
Why use TorZon Market over other markets?
Longest continuously-operating major market in the current cohort, mature multisig escrow, large vendor base across categories, and a disciplined signed-mirror rotation cadence. Not the only sensible choice but a low-volatility option.
Is TorZon Market safer than Nexus or DrugHub?
"Safer" depends on the threat model. TorZon has a longer track record. Nexus has the cleanest captcha anti-phishing scheme. DrugHub has the most polished interface. None of these eliminate the underlying risks of a darknet marketplace; pick on operational fit, not absolute safety.
Money
What coins does TorZon Market accept?
BTC, LTC, XMR, plus a handful of altcoins. XMR for privacy by default; BTC for compatibility with most exchanges. Always route through a personal non-custodial wallet first, never directly from a KYC exchange.
How long do TorZon deposits take to confirm?
XMR about twenty minutes from broadcast. BTC one to three confirmations, usually under an hour. LTC under thirty minutes.
